Promising Never to Forget Those Who Can No Longer Remember.
The Alzheimer’s Group of Carroll County, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education, support, and respite to individuals and families in our community coping with Alzheimer’s disease. Since 1987, we have served families across Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties with the help of compassionate volunteers—including elder care professionals—who generously give their time and expertise to connect families with information, resources, and care for their loved ones. We are a fully independent, 100% volunteer-led organization that receives no state or national funding. Instead, we rely entirely on donations, grants, and local fundraising efforts to sustain our work. With less than 10% overhead, we are committed to using resources efficiently—ensuring that all funds raised stay right here in our community to directly support the families we serve.
