Everyone needs a break. Respite care provides caregivers a temporary rest from caregiving, while the person with Alzheimer's continues to receive care in a safe environment. Using respite services can support and strengthen your ability to be a caregiver.

This program provides a few hours of caregiving support each week, giving primary caregivers the opportunity to rest, recharge, and focus on their own well-being.
To qualify, applicants must:

Be a home caregiver for someone with a dementia diagnosis

Be a resident of Carroll, Haralson, or Heard county
